If you have crooked or protruding teeth, or are experiencing symptoms of malocclusion we can perform a thorough examination to identify any misalignment of your teeth.
Symptoms of Malocclusion
- Problems chewing food
- Problems with biting the cheek or roof of the mouth
- Slurring speech, trouble saying certain words or other speech problems
- Pain in the facial muscles or jaw
- Permanent teeth coming in (erupting) at the wrong position
If the misalignment is mild, some non-surgical techniques for correcting Malocclusion are:
Nightguards
A custom made removable appliance that fits over you bottom and top teeth to reduce wear from grinding.
Tooth Reshaping
We can adjust tooth surfaces to even out distribution of pressure across all of your teeth.
Replacement & Reconstruction
We may need to repair or replace existing dental work like fillings, crowns, brigades or inlays to build them up to their natural shape.
More severe malocclusion may require surgery or collaboration with one of our preferred orthodontist partners.
Splint Therapy
A splint is a removable dental appliance that covers all or most of your upper and lower teeth. There are different types of splints which we may recommend depending on your treatment plan.
