All-on-4 is a revolutionary oral rehabilitation approach for people who have lost all their teeth, or for those who must consider many extractions due to disease, with the placement of as few as 4 implants.

Implants act as a foundation for the placement of a fixed set of natural looking restorations. Non-removable teeth are fixed permanently on four implants, making All-on-4™ a financially reasonable, stable, and reliable solution for patients with missing teeth.

Many patients who may not have been candidates for implants in the past, due to complex bone grafting requirements and  high costs of these procedures as well as the placement of large numbers of implants (generally 8-10), can often undergo this treatment due to the unique placement of  2 posterior implants at a 45 degree angle, along with conventional implant placement (usually 2 implants) in the front of the mouth. Use of angulated implants in the back of the mouth overcomes the problem  of  height/volume deficiencies by avoiding enlarged sinuses, often without major bone grafting procedures.

All-on-4™ treatment protocol maintains high rates of success with satisfying aesthetic and functional results.

Advantages of All-on-4™
So-long dentures!

Why All-on-4™ is the Best Treatment Option for patients wanting to get rid of their dentures, and for people with failing teeth in need of a full upper and/or lower restoration:

    • Fixed (Non-Removable)

Unlike conventional dentures, the All-on-4™ procedure allows you to have non-removable teeth that feel and function similar to natural teeth. The All-on-4™ procedure eliminates the day-to-day frustrations and discomfort of dentures.

    • Aesthetic

Conventional dentures have extensive acrylic material that cover the palate in the case of an upper denture, and can negatively affect your taste, comfort and speech.  The All-on-4™ solution provides a solution that looks and feels similar to a natural dentition.

    • Same-Day Teeth

The All-on-4™ procedure is often completed in a single day (24 hour time period). In some cases, failing teeth can be removed, implants placed and teeth inserted on same day. Similarly, if you are already wearing a denture, implants can be placed and teeth inserted immediately.

    • Immediate Function

The recovery process is minimized for All-on-4™ technology. Eat, talk, and socialize as soon as you have left us.

    • Minimal Need for Grafting

Bone grafting is a surgical procedure often necessary in a process of placing conventional implant-based rehabilitations. Loss of a tooth or teeth often causes bone shrinkage. In order to correct this type of problem, bone may be taken from other areas of your mouth or your hip, and increasingly replaced with bone graft substitutes. With All-on-4™ treatment, the unique positioning of implants avoids many of the key resorbed areas, and therefore in most cases bone grafting is not required.

  • Bring The Cost Down

Conventional full jaw implant restorations generally require at least 8-10 implants and bone grafting if the bone is deficient. This can make the entire process costly, long and complex. The all-on-4™ concept has made a dramatic step forward by significantly bringing the cost and treatment time down, while maintaining effective and satisfying results.

The exact cost varies by patient and the oral condition, but with fewer implants and the simpler ‘Teeth-in-a-Day’ procedure, all-on-4™ is an increasingly sought after solution for patients facing the dilemma of replacing many missing teeth with a non-removable solution.

Treatment Process

Traditional approaches to restoring a full arch of teeth usually involved bone grafts, six or more implants, and as many as 18 months of treatment. That meant that a patient often would be without any teeth or with ill-fitting temporary dentures for more than a year.

  1. Step 1
Our specialists will examine you to discuss all your available options.
  2. Step 2
You have two or three visits to our office to allow us to gather information ready for your implant placement.
  3. Step 3
    Implant placement and bridge fitting.

The patient will return for occasional check-ups over the next several weeks and months. After almost six months, when the gums have fully healed and the implants are fused to the natural bone, we will take new impressions of the patient’s mouth and prepare a final, stronger, permanent set of teeth adjusted to a perfect fit. This helps ensure the longest life of the teeth, and provide maximum support, beauty, and function to the patient.

How does All-on-4™ differ from dentures?

Unlike dentures, All-On-4™ dental implants are a permanent set of teeth that look and feel natural. That means they:

  • Are permanent teeth that are brushed and cleaned like natural teeth
  • Do not have to be taken out and cleaned each night
  • Do not need messy, sticky adhesives
  • Do not press down on your gums, so they’re more comfortable
  • Allow you to taste and experience hot and cold food
  • Do not cause you to gag
  • Allow you to bite with increased force, so you can eat all of your favourite foods
  • Prevent bone deterioration

How does All-on-4™ compare to traditional implants?

All-on-4™ uses only four implants, unlike traditional implants which need anywhere from 5 to 8 implants in one arch. Because the posterior implants of the All-on-4™ procedure are placed at an angle, allowing for increased bracing and strength by using greater volume of your bone.
Further, traditional implants often require bone grafting, a process that can take 6 months or more to heal.
All-on-4™ needs no bone grafting for most patients, with extremely high clinical success rates.

All-on-4™ is designed to save you time & money as well as repeated surgery & discomfort.

What is the success rate of All-on-4™?

Published studies show a 98.2% success rate using All-on-4™ in the lower arch, and a 94% success rate on the upper arch.

Am I a candidate for All-on-4™?
